FAQs

Which AI workshop should I choose?

Introduction to AI is the best starting point if you are new to AI or still unsure how it could help your business.

AI for Marketing is better suited to people who already have a basic understanding of AI and want to use it more effectively for marketing their business, although the techniques covered can be applied to a wide range of business tasks.

Do I need to bring a laptop?

Yes. Please bring a laptop so you can take part in the exercises and try the tools for yourself. A smartphone or tablet may work for some for the Introduction to AI, but a laptop will give you the best experience.

What AI tools do you cover?

Most live demonstrations use ChatGPT, with Claude introduced as an alternative where useful. The core skills taught, including prompting, providing context, evaluating responses and using AI responsibly, can also be applied to tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini.

Bright Brief does not currently provide advanced, product-specific Microsoft Copilot training.

Do I need a paid ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini account?

No. You can take part using a free account. Some paid features may be demonstrated, but subscriptions are not required for the workshops.

Are the workshops suitable for any type of small business?

Yes. The workshops are designed for small businesses across a wide range of sectors. The examples and exercises focus on everyday business tasks common to all small businesses rather than one particular industry.

Are the workshops available for private groups?

Yes. Workshops can be commissioned for teams, business networks and organisations that support small businesses. The content can be adapted to suit the experience and priorities of the group.

Are the workshops available online?

The current workshops are designed primarily for in-person delivery. Online sessions are available for private groups.

What happens after the workshop?

You will leave with exercises, ideas and actions you can apply in your business. Bright Brief also offers tailored audits and hands-on support for businesses that would like help putting what they have learned into practice.

Will I be expected to share information about my business?

We suggest that you use your own business as the basis for the exercises, but you will not be asked to share confidential or commercially sensitive information with the group.
